maybe change listing to private and set price as $0.01
buy high count
change price back to normal, public listing
no clue if it will work.
think ebay would have system in place to prevent manipulation like that
then again it may not be far off from how some vendors are doing it. similar trick works for amazon. they find some other item that sells well. then change the title+picture to a new product. it retains the old item reviews + stats.

if you sold 20 , it will be shown on your listing. It is done by algorythm
