How is this done? do you just target random people and wait for optimization? Or do you sell niche clothing at the start? Selling clothing seems pretty hard when the clothing is so general. Anyone get any experience with this?

Is this for an online shop and not a brick & mortar local store, correct?

Go to Affiliate section and contact those ad networks there, but I dont think they will offer pay per sale, just PPC or PPL.

For the online clothing shop, you will need to target your customers' age, interest... you need to be specific about your shop, what ranges of customers will like your clothing.

Instead of going that way it would be better to directly target groups on facebook. Don't do it the blackhat way, contact group owner & discuss regarding promotion.

Another good platform is Pinterest. Better signup for business account. Business account is also free to signup but you get extra benefit like analytics and much more.

What's the black hat way to target groups on FB? I've been curious about that.

if you are going to promote that on facebook you are going to lose tons of tons for first sight. i am not good at facebook advertsing and clothing stuff... but i got my own...stilll i am loosting money....1 like costs least 0.80 and its a big waste for dropshippers....

hope some expert will give you a good input. ....

    PS :
you can do that on seo..i did it..i ranked keywords (MS 2600) 1st spots and no conversion at all..... adds are the key for clothing..make sure your site is mobile optimize

With black hat I meant joining and posting to number of groups where there is risk of posts being deleted or reported. Instead you can just contact relevant big groups and get into some deal with them, this way your post stays.

Don't do it trough targeting, you will be throwing your money. Only random and fake likes/bot visits on your store :)

after spending loads of money on facebook ads. i decided to go deep and dig what kind of people would really be interested in our products but also at the same time be able to afford them.

There was some improvement from the engagement and how many people were visiting the site from facebook. 'though non could really order.

Looking to waste my money into another advertising venture though.
