    How can I mass edit gifs to make them exactly 500 pixels and 1MB? I just queued over 100 animated images on Tumblr and half of them aren't working

    If I can't find a way to mass edit them then what would be the best way to make them work on Tumblr and keep them at the best quality possible? I tried the free online editors, but they just ruin the image quality to the point where they're not even worth sharing anymore.

    You will probably have to find a program that will split the GIF into separate frames, check the memory size of each individual frame, re-size frames, then re-assemble the GIF image. You could post in Hire a freelancer forum, but I think the quality issue is not so easy to overcome. Good luck.

    If they are online, The easier thing to do would be to resize them through the use of CSS. You'll have to edit the css a bit by doing the following:

    img {
    max-width: 100%;
    height: auto;
    }
    You can also set the max width to whatever you want (etc 500px and leave the height as auto)
