    Hello all,

I've searched quite a bit before i posted but i just couldn't find an answer to my question so here i go...
I got really angry this week when i went to buy a new truck and things just couldn't be put together instantly because of my credit. (it should be around 630-650 not sure...) then i decided to give it an end...
Are services like Lexington Law and others legit or they are just trying to take money alway from you without solving your problem ? I know that i could do it myself but i don't like to deal with things that i don't understand and i don't mind paying for a service either as long as its good. By the way i don't have major issues, just a couple things here and there that i didn't give importance and now it's affecting my credit so.. whatever is the amount i owe i should be able to pay with no problem if that's the case. Any advice is really welcome.

    Thanks

First you need to get better help from a forum like creditboards.com (I found good help for establishing business credit).

I had a guest speaker at university regarding that subject.
Here are some quick tips that I remember.

    To repair credit
-use CC as a payment method, pay minimum payment the first month (don't be late), and pay in full the next. This actually increases your score points at a time.

Every time you fill out an application for a job or a CC or whatever a credit check is run on you... Only like 3 credit checks per (insert time period) will not damage your credit, after that it starts to hurt.

Write a letter to the 3 major credit agencies through snail mail requesting a credit report. It is free. Don't go ahead and use the internet services or you will be spammed for life. Analyze, and reply. Example, ex-room-mate is still listed and negligent on payments on a place you no longer live. All sorts of stupid things pop up on credit reports, and you must mail (stampy the snail) back to correct these things.

More are out there, I use the pay in full the second month.

    Hope this helps!

If you have things to pay off, have them agree to take it off your credit when paid in full.

Oh and I forgot, let me find an affiliate link for you lol. JK

I am in the middle of repairing mine now.

    My Steps.....

1> Correct any inaccuracies by submitting letters to all credit bureaus disputing inaccuracies.

2> Start with smallest amount negative effect accounts. .....ex. Collections, Lawyers

3> Not there yet ...but steps one and two def. worked.

That's step one.... then follow my previous posts.

then as you pay off accounts request a paid status letter and fax these to all three bureaus to speed up the updating of your credit. There is no real super secret way of making it all go away. Start with small accounts then work up to the bigger.

Thanks for this post, I just signed up for a credit repair affiliate program :)

after the economy turns around there should be a big need for it.

actually the one I signed up for is quite reasonable price wise. ($300)

You know you were denied a job at the flea market because of your bad credit. Therefore you are allowed to get a free credit report from each agency.

So visit Trans Union, Experian and Equifax and get them.

Then read this book and see how this lady cleared her record using debt validation request letters.

    http://www.hackcanada.com/canadian/freedom/mary_croft.pdf

When you write the debt validation letters always make sure that you state that their mistake is preventing you from getting money to run your business and that it is CAUSING YOU DAMAGE and that that you demand that they remove it.

You must FIRST validate the debt with the credit card company and get them to stop reporting the account.

After they stop reporting it, then you must validate the debt with the credit reporting agency and demand that they remove it from your record.

They know that if they are causing you DAMAGE that they can be sued. So you must ALWAYS approach it from a business standpoint.

Since they cannot validate the debt, they must remove it.

If they have sold the old debt to a collections agency, you must go through the same validation with them, however in addition you must also send copies of the letter to their legal department (or the law firm doing their legal). That will scare 'em.

    Flinx

This in not legal advice. You are responsible for doing this yourself.

I usually just hit the "thanks" button, as not to clutter up the threads and break BHW policies. But, this ebook is SO GOOD that I have to say "thank you" to Flinx and suggest that everyone read it. I've been looking for something like this for a LONG time!!! :biggthump

    I promote this company:

    ovationcredit(dot)com

Check it out. Good information on the website. This company is one of the largest credit repair type companies out there. Great affiliate program too. Good luck.

Yeah man this is not the forum to ask. Its like asking us how to make an orange souflee (we don't have the slightest clue).

Go to Barnes and Noble or Borders. No, you don't need to buy anything. Just go the personal finance section and find the book "How To Get Rich (Without Cutting Up Your Credit Cards!)" by Robert Kiyosaki. He was almost a million dollars in debt when his nylon and velcro wallet business collapsed in the late 1970s. Not only was he able to get out of that one million dollar debt, he went on to become financially free.

He's extremely wealthy today. Trust me - I've met him!

He and his wife have 2 Lamborghini Gallardo Spyders, 2 Range Rovers, one Ferarri F430 Spider, one Bentley Arnage convertible, and one Porsche Speedster (the first production model, meaning the first one off of the production line in Stutgard, AKA the one used for the pictures in the brochure).

If you're willing to pay 40 bucks, buy this: http://www.richdad.com/store/ProductDetail.aspx?id=175

(That's the product ID, not an affiliate link, just in case anyone was wondering).

Robert and Kim show exactly how they got out of their 1 million dollars of bad debt. (There's good debt and bad debt, but I'll get into that later, this is what you need for now).

    Good luck!
