I wish to remove my existing Wordpress blog and replace it with another form of website, perhaps a static landing page. What are the things that I have to do to make sure all the wordpress files are completely removed? I mean I have to delete all the files within public_html and the mysql database, what else?

Thanks in advance and please help me asap!

    dont delete cgi-bin
delete htaccess - just make a new one for your new site if you intend to use new file permission or redirection

Besides cgi-bin, is there any other file that I should not delete?
