    Hello,

A while back, the videos listed in the "Related Videos" list (the thumbnails next to the video you're watching) were all actually related to the video, so you could find great new content easily, but as of last year Youtube has started adding old videos from your history and videos related to those videos (not the current one) in the same list, with the subtitle "Recommended for You". This is really annoying, because while I'm watching, for example, electronic music videos I get completely unrelated shit next to it, like syrian civil war news and eastbound and down clips, which have fuck all to do with the video.

Is there any way to reconfigure YouTube so that the recommendations shown are actually realted to the video? I have to keep deleting my cookies and making sure I'm logged out all the time, is there a simpler way?

nope..u can only change tags and then u will find after 2 weeks those recommended videos are starting to disappear, there are some users who play very useless minecraft games but whenvr u post any content related to gaming their stuffs will start to appear in the recommended section whether they are relevant or not..it's all in the viewcounts. but still by changing categories and tag-words I have been able to get rid of some pretty useless recommended stuffs. my channel only1indrajit. hope it helps
