I understand there had been few forumers had posted similar questions at here in the past. I had read through them and found that SMThemes may had changed their methods in doing things.

I am currently using the theme called Gamelab

Hopefully some kind souls here are willing to help me. Thank you very much in advance.

You will need to edit the theme by going into your admin dashboard > appearance > editor

Find the text you need to change in Theme Footer (footer.php)

    Hopefully that helped

Like rednada said, edit the footer.php, press ctrl+f to find the text easier then delete it.

Actually I done that. Then there's a red bar appeared and wrote, kindly put back so and so links and names into the footer.

Seem like they had added some measures to prevent people from editing off the footer.php.

    Thank you

Except doing that won't help when the theme is updated as it will come back.

Maybe you could hide it by changing the text colour to the same as the background colour.

Edit the footer.php, press ctrl+f to find the text easier then delete it. That'll solve the problem.
