I have a friend who asked me for help.

Is there a way to remove google first page result #1 position under a specific keyword.. for a "personal name" for instance? Eg: when someone types my name, an article from www.DAILYMAIL.CO.UK appears in first result on google. I want to remove it somehow as far as possible. Is there a way you guys know? it's a popular website please see SEO Competition Analysis from MarketSamurai - this article in #1 position that needs to be removed.

I have all the tools SENUKEX, Scrapebox, AMR, you name it.. to work this page/article from appearing in #1 position...
    Any good ideas guys?
    Thank You

Sending DMCA notices if appropriate under legal circumstances (i.e. when they are using a persons photo without consent) would be most effective.

If you are willing to spend some cash, send out a press release blast using PRWeb or something similar.

Ask them to remove it via DMCA or contact a solicitor :)

DMCA will not work and I suggest you do not threaten a company this big, they like to write updated stories when this happens. Press releases are a waste of money as they might suppress the article but they will be removed in 30-60 days, leaving you were you started. I know all this cause I am co-founder of one of the leading ORM companies. You need to start with creating a well optimized social media account on all major social sites, buy your name .com, .net, .org etc ... Then build high PR, extremely low OBL backlinks to all of these properties once they are developed. The key will be the massive amount of backlinks you have to build, our backlink building team is the largest team we have and they are the most vital.

http://knowem.com/ contains a huge list of web 2.0 sites you can claim and leverage.

We work with a lot of SEO's cause they generally think ORM will be easier and they take client money and realize ORM and SEO are in reality completely different in every way shape and form.

Of course if you complete all the above an are not successful then you can PM and I will have a salesman contact you directly to discuss.
