    Hello BHW,

I have been searching for the right answer for my question. But not getting any relevant so I thought to create a tread on it.
So, In one of my website which have high competition keywords.

The anchor text diversification as follow: (majesticseo)

    Targeted keyword 1 - 20%
    Targeted keyword 2 - 12%
    Targeted keyword 3 - 5%
    Targeted keyword 4 - 5%
    Targeted keyword 5 - 4%
    http://www.example.com/ - 14%
    http://www.example.com - 9%
    www.example.com - 1%
    BrandName - 8%
    Other Anchor Text - 20%

Do you think this is good diversification. I saw my competitors they have "other anchor text" more than 60% and I have 20%.
Is this the reason behind ranking drops. If so then can anyone please tell me how to make this correct.
I think creating good backlinks for other keywords will help but the problem is ratio is high so what is great sources of link building that will make easy and I can create max 500 backlinks per day.

    Sorry about my bad English.

500 backlinks per day is a lot... Do you think a website would naturally get 500 backlinks in a single day? I don't think so... Building a lot of backlinks over a short period of time is a great way to get your site flagged by the search engines.

This will take time to fix up, but it's possible. I suggest that you started building a few links here and there, using related terms (e.g. your keyword + another word) or broad terms (e.g. click here, visit this website, etc.) for your anchor texts.

I guess you can use a social bookmarking service, do a bit of blog commenting (use a fake name to link to your site, and NOT your keyword(s)), publish a few articles, etc. Try to diversify your link profile, so you get different kinds of links.

    I hope this helps!

You are not doing bad with your diversification formula at all. However, low quality links and poor content spinning can be responsible for your drop in rankings.

I also think the same the thing is when I started link building to this website their was already many backlinks on website (before penguin update). From that point I only do create non-spammy backlinks, no paid links, no link farm nothing like I tried. I have to know how can I fix this problem.

From the evidence I drew last year after a major dig into post-penguin sites (over 10k URL's) your ratios of keyword anchors would still be too high. You're showing 46% of links with just 5 anchors, and if they were semantically close with recurring words, you'd be very high on individual word density.

See my videos on the subject: link in the banner.

You can get away with high percentages of exact-match if you use only low-volume high trust/PR links, but with volume linking, you need a very wide variety.

You should be looking at 10-30% of highly varied extended/LSI long-tail keywords, about 30% 'generic', and about 30-50% URL/Brand (which are the safest and most natural).

Don't forget that Google pulls as much contextual meaning from the linking and destination page content, as it does from the anchor used. So keyword anchors are much less important than they used to be. And synonyms/LSI are recognised as contextually relevant and therefore keyword-relevant.
