I dunno if it'll work for all, but I'm doing this and I don't seem to get shaved, and if I do then the shaving rates are minimal.

Anyhow, here's what you need to do:
Before starting a new campaign tell your AM to please minimise the shaving rates on your account. Most likely after you say that he'll say something within the lines of their CPA network not shaving, ever. Tell him you both know that it's not true and it'll be a shame if you'll have to switch a CPA network after a week or so because that's when most shaving starts to take place.

If you're doing volume; use that card. At this point with a decent cover story you can let any project approved, even if you're gonna do $1k+/day.

Anyways, tell him you have your fair share of experiance with CPA and that you have a way on checking almost every conversion that comes through(and you will, just bear with me a few more lines).

By now you should have your AM's word for not shaving you/minimising your shaving rate, now you need a way to track the real conversion and see if your CPA is keeping their word of not.

If you're doing email marketing this is perfect for you, if not, you can still use it.

Basically, you open a new email account, and in your project you should tell your prospects to send a snapshot of the "after conversion" page. You can also tell them to send you the 3rd word in line 4 for example.

This will not work unless they have a reason to go through the trouble of sending you the confirmation. This technique works perfectly for prospects who seek jobs or ones who are waiting for a prize of sorts. You can still use this technique on other types of prospects, but you must give them a reason to want contacting you.

Once you set this up you can visit your mailbox and see the proofs of conversion. You can tell them to have a certain subject or charset in the subject to make your screening between the conversions and curses alot easyer.

If you see any anomalies like too much conversion claims that don't match with what your CPA is telling you then they're either shaving you(in this case show them the proof and if they don't accept it move to a different CPA network), or you have a leak(in this case make sure that your prospects will have a harder time getting the "proof of cenversion" unconventionally).

Anyhow, I hope that will help you reduce your shaving rates.

    Take care for now xD

I would really like to know if anyone had tryed that and had success with it.. as I said, so far this technique has worked pretty good for me, I'd like to know if it has been as kind for others as well.

Those are some good points, I have a question thought, they actually see your Email submit ratio, or only the leads which counts to your offer?

good points, I just usually keep on testing one offer on different networks...

usually know which one shaves and doesn't.

good points but works for short period only
dnt try it when u r new
just let ur account go for 1 month
after that when u want to start heavy BH methods at that time
say all this to ur AM
    and start BH
once u have said that u might shift to other cpa than they wont have objection on sudden heavy leads
after ur payments say that they r shaving ;) and start BH on other network

Do you realize that 90% of the time, shaving is done by the end merchant and not the network? So telling the network that "you are watching for shaving" won't do much.

Aye, maybe you can't stop it, but this way you have a rough way of seeing if the shaving rates are at modest or rediculous levels.

i think that 99.99% of the networks are shaving not only the cpa companies,
try to work with the companies that shaving less.

btw Hanuka , now its Passover you should change your nickname immediately.
