Don't make to much efforts for backlings from news websites. News website with high reputation and high domain authority set almost all their links as nofollow links. Especially for guest posts or links in comments. So it could end up in a waste of time. At least for backlings, a guest article in a reputated news domain of course would be good avertisement.

As other members mentioned you can do press releases, but relating to my expierience they often don't have high link authority. It's better than nothing but don't expect to much from it.

The best way to do this is through press releases .

You have to understand that many people misuse press releases.

They think it's just another piece of SEO copy that they show on the Internet, hoping that somebody from a media outlet will put it on their site.

This rarely works, at least not in the way people expect.

The best approach is to look at the data you have access to in your niche and come up with a spicy angle.

Something controversial or something that reporters usually write on.

For example, OkCupid used to be just another dating site.

They ranked quite low; there were bigger brands in their niche.

It seemed like a hopeless case.

But they sent out press releases which they distributed through the social media accounts of reporters.

The press releases talked about the racial and ethnic preferences of the people on their dating sites.

Since many people were curious about it, many websites that normally do not link to dating sites started linking.

That's how OkCupid shot up through the ranks and became one of the biggest players in the online dating industry.

The same goes with PornHub .

They issued a press release regarding porn preferences in different parts of the United States.

It turns out that in the Bible belt, there is a heavy demand for gay porn.

This was controversial and made a lot of people laugh; that kind of thing.

Whenever you get that kind of traction, news sites that normally won't touch you with a 10-foot pole will end up linking to you.

Think along those lines.

One key lesson rings out when you study these two cases: write press releases that are newsworthy .

You pay for them... Go on people per hour and you'll find a few journalists who have the power to add a link to those high DA news sites. They'll even write the guest post for you! They come at a cost though.

big news sites charge $$$$ for backlinks in news articles where they quote your "expert opinion". (which makes me really skeptical about avoiding paid links btw)

Their are tons of google new sites , plus you have to pay some editorial fees about 20 to 30 dollars , then when you are qualified it would give you details to post the article and Then put your article and wait your post to be published !

I worked on a top news site. If you reach out to them directly they are going to ask a hell of lot of money for sure.
