Currently, I'm aiming to achieve high visibility for the keyword "ABCD" with a KD (Keyword Difficulty) of 30% using techniques to revive an expired domain

Suppose there's a site ranking 10th for the keyword "CDEF" with a KD of 40%. Would you utilize this site or purchase a new domain?

While the keyword "CD" matches, "AB" doesn't, indicating a niche misalignment. However, in broader niches, they align.

Considering that reviving a domain requires implementing pages perfectly, it's challenging due to niche differences. How would you approach this?

I've learned that the domain ranking means very little if you know how to write quality content. So you should just use it to publish quality content on it to rank a little faster, then sell it
Is the domain still ranking on Google?
If not, it's basically no better than a new domain

If the old website is too different from what you want to do now, it's better to buy a new domain that matches what you're aiming for. But if it's not too different, you can change the old website's content to fit better with your new goals.

Make it with high quality hand written content to develop your old referring domain update those stuff in regular interval upto the date or else it's better to buy a new one.

I would suggest to get a new domain that matches your niche well for the keyword "ABCD" instead of trying to use a domain that doesn't really fit, which could make it harder to rank
