I'm new to tumblr but I thought about giving it a try.
I read that reblogging is a method to get some attention to your posts but there's a thing I don't quite get yet.

If there's a post with a source and you click on the image it will redirect you to that url, for example xxxx.com.
Now if I reblog that post it with yyyy.com as the source, then if I click the image from my reblog post it will still go to xxxx.com instead of my entered source yyyy.com.
There is just something appended to the bottom of the post like source: yyyy.com but it still goes to xxxx.com

Is it possible to change that, so the reblog clickthrough actually goes to my source?

    Thanks in advance

There are two aspects to tumblr posts: a source URL and a click-thru URL. If you reblog a post, you will not be able to alter the click-thru URL (recent change tumblr implemented), but you will be able to change the source URL. So, anything you reblog will retain it's original click-thru URL, unfortunately. To set the click-thru URL, you must make your own post, not a reblogged post.
