How to rank youtube videos in 2017?

Hello guys i'm #Realtalk. and i'm in the CPA & CPI Marketing. I just got back into youtube. But i have a hard time ranking videos. And these are highly saturated niches so its difficult but i used to be pretty good at it. On page 13 on the a highly searched keyword.

Appreciate all help i can get from you experienced fella's.

HR Views/ Likes and maybe some Reshares. Having your video optimized correctly with the keyword you want to target.

Optimize Title,Tags and Description with keywords but don't keyword stuff description with thousands of keywords.Keep sending HR views and likes for 3 days to a week to maintain VPH because Youtube takes days to index views into the search counter.The amount of views you need per day depends on the authority of your channel and keyword competition.

optimization is super important.

Thanks guys. But On-page optimitazion is perfect i always keep it High quality and even tho its blackhat i write it HQ and professional. Keeping it to 5 tags. 2 Title keywords 100% HQ. And a good long description with good amount of information also High quality.

The first thing you should do before uploading your video is prepare you keywords, title and description.

Video Title: Use the keyword list to construct the title. Weave in as many of the keywords as you can with the title still making sense and not looking like spam.
Video Description: The description should include ALL your keywords, woven into legible paragraphs that again don’t look like spam.
Video Tags: For the video tags, just copy and paste in your keyword list.

I had a case studies of ranking videos in local highly competitive keyword. It ranks top at Google and Youtube after the Fred update, went to 30 and below. Insane!

I did is linkwheel of the main video and submission to social network sites and to couple of my expired tumblrs

I realize this post is 3 months old but after reading all of the responses to the OP, I have to chime in.
I have been a member on this site sense 2011..I believe this is my first post here actually.

The responses from the other members here are true, But not in the correct order..

The very first thing to do before uploading your video is the "Video File Properties"
From your desk top right click the video.. choose "Details" from the property file and fill in as much information in the file property as possible. even giving your video a 5 star rating. Add you target keyword as many times as possible in the property file.

Also... to rank much higher in Google now a days is to live stream your videos..Live stream videos rank much higher in Google..You can head over to fiverr and get someone there to make your "pre recorded" Youtube video Live Streaming.

Just wanted to add my 2 cents...Always fill out the "Video File Properties" FIRST
