Hello I am currently trying to rank for about 20 keywords on the same domain all fairly related but I don't want to look like spam at all since this is a legit company, I was wondering what are some good ways of doing this?

    Thanks

It's an Algo, of course it can be gamed.
    Home Page:
Make a page for each KW you are trying to rank for and make your domain like this domain.com/KW1, domain.com/KW2 etc.

    Works for me everytime!

IMO diversifying the keywords you target actually makes you look less spammy!

Anyways, if it's appropriate for your site you could always write separate articles/pages for each keyword.

This is what I usually do. Also, I have done some testing on using domain.com/keyword with folder structures for the BIGGEST keywords. This allows you to launch sub-pages under the folder to give the folder index file even more authority. There are hundreds of ways to do it. I have found this can pass on great authority.

    Example below.
    Folder:
    BusinessCompany.com/fishingPoles/
    Sub-pages:
    BusinessCompany.com/fishingPoles/fresh-water-poles.html
    BusinessCompany.com/fishingPoles/sale-water-poles

I follow the same format as Shwagoo mentioned.
