If you make very good quality backlinks, the rankings will stay. But if you are in hurry to build any crap backlinks also, the rankings will be gone in next update .

First you have to decide the niche and start creating topic authority on it. Don't go for keywords, go for real problems and question people. Only after that search for long tail keywords and go on. Write good content and don't focus on the volume of the keywords internally.

set include you niche seed keyword(s) separated by comma
hit apply filter
download the report

each of the keywords has a site with dr 0 in top 5
go to google and search each keyword
you need to find that site using a chrome extension that give moz da in the serp results like keywords everywhere or ubersuggest
you will see a site with low da , ahrefs 0 dr = moz low da
now take that site and plug it into semrush domain explorer, if the traffic is going up its getting rewarded.
