I quit smoking 25 days ago now and let me tell you it was one of the best decisions I have ever made!

I feel such relief that I don't have to continue to ruin my health (20 years now) and wake up in the morning with my lungs feeling like they are scabbed over.

I know that it can feel really scary to think of quitting, but let me tell you that is only because of the cigarette. If you can get the courage to launch yourself you will see that there was nothing to be afraid of.

The way I did it was by reading Allen Car's famous book -"The Easy Way to Quit Smoking." This book is amazing, since everyone who reads it quits smoking. There are many testimonials by famous actors and millions of people who were freed from sickening nicotine by reading this book.

So if there are any BH smokers out there who want to quit, order this book!

All you have to do is read it with a open mind...it will free you even while you continue to smoke!

I'm serious, I hope this helps some of you out there. Peace!

    Edit:

So far I want to congratulate those below for their courage to quit and hope it inspires others (more to come):

mightybh: That's awesome that you found the MP3's on bhw and that you quit! That's truly Black Hat!

    lazlow

bininch: I hope that you thought about it deeply last night outside.

krazy kitty: That is truly a wonderful thing to do for your friend!

bigspade: Yes reasons and awareness is the key.

    smartgirl

    pofecker

vivalafeva: I did the 2-3 cigs a day for a couple years, just kept me hooked and feeling shitty still.

    --------------

So the book is not the only way to quit, just gave me and millions more that extra edge.

The cigarette is the strongest addiction in this world, it's amazing that anyone can break free.

Oh, quitting smoking is the Ultimate Black Hat strategy because it triples your stamina and productivity. Peace!

Yeah everyone goes on about that book, but I just went cold turkey - about 6 times and finally got there. Maybe it would have been quicker had I picked myself up a copy. I quit smoking over a year ago and now I look back and ask myself why I even bothered.

i quit for more than 1 1/2 years now.

no need for a book. just need a reason and the will to finish it.

felt like trying one few days ago, but still resisted and feared the come back.

as well as they just raised the prize for cigarretes here.

Yeah weed does make you realize how bad smoking is for you...

But seriously, if you smoke and want to quite read this book.

Why not? I would say if you're still smoking this might be the catalyst that helps free you.

Plus, after you quit, there are many temptations that cause people to start again.

This book helps erase some of the brainwashing that society fills us with regarding smoking and helps keep one from ever wanting to go back to it.

There are 2 types of quitters, those that are happy and joyful that they are free, and those who after quitting spend the rest of their lives wanting a cigarette (or until they give in.)

So which of these two would you rather be?

Wait I erased all that what is this a mini infomercial? If you want to quit then you don't need a stupid book to do it. I quit mid day out of no where just because I was tired of it.....

I used to smoke up to 30/day for almost 9 years. I have attempted to quit around 10 times before. Used gum and all sorts of different techniques. I shit you not, I saw Allen Carr method being shared here a while ago and I gave it ago. I still smoked while going through all the mp3s. I'm almost 3 months smoke free now! Give it a try. RS links should be here somewhere.

I quit smoking a half year ago.
Best thing that worked for me was just not buying cigarettes anymore :)
And thanks to our government for rising tax for cigarettes, now a pack costs ~5$, it used to be 2$ :30:

Smoking is cool and everyone knows it. Until you hit 30. Then you're going to die. What a useful comment this was.

Oh yeah. I love that shit smell when I'm walking around campus. It brightens up the day for asthmatics such as myself. Secondhand smoke is the new cigarette. Fuck smoking.

I quit almost 2 months ago, i smoked for about 5 years, but i started using Camel's SNUS (frost) for my nicotine fix. Im still using the pouches but atleast im not smoking anymore. Just waking up weazing everyday was getting to me. Hopefully soon ill kick the pouches.. but for anyone whos trying to get off smoking the pouches def helped me alot..
