Does anyone know an app that i could put text (similar to picture) on my slideshows.

Almost every video editor can do this. I'm using Camtasia editor to do something like this. Filmora might be an option too...or if you have some video editing knowledge - sonyvegas

For some reason i can't find any tutorials on how to do it in camtasia, only how to add regular text...

You may try Proshow Producer it's easy to use

You can use Avidemux it is a free and open source video editor
