How to promote YouTube video?

I tried searching for a thread like this, but most of them say how to make money with CPA. Me, on the other hand want to promote a video.

Here is what I was thinking, and if anyone knows any better idea, please tell me.

I was thinking:
1. Buy YouTube views
2. Submit video to other video sites
3. Social bookmark the video

Anything else?

and maybe some backlinks if you have a tough competition?

 

well for likes/favorites/subscribers i recommend vagex. but for comments i say you manually do them your self
