How can I promote products being sold on my website.

These products where formally sold on eBay, can you suggest to me a way to promote products on my own website, I tried Adwords, but it doesn't even display my ads despite being eligible.

I will be very grateful for any help on promoting products being sold on my website.

The products are widely used office software.

Best thing you could do is look through the forums over on the left column. Read through the ones in the Making Money section. Use the methods there that seem doable for you, and just target them to your own website rather than the cpa networks or affilliate programs.

Also, again over on the left column click on the Black Hat SEO and the White Hat SEO forums and read the threads there. Again choose the methods that seem doable for you.

Most of the methods on this forum will work just as well targeting your own products. There are many different methods that can be used to promote your own products. Once you find a few ideas you think might be promising then ask for help refining them if or for clarification if you need it. Just posting a question how do I promote my own products isn't much different than all the How Can I Make Money posts.

I'm not trying to be rude. This is some really good advice. You've been a member on BHW longer than me. Haven't you come across any threads that have methods you think might work for what you need? Maybe ask about one of the methods that seems workable to you and see if anyone thinks it might work in your situation.

Surely you have at least a few ideas you've already thought of. Are your products digital or physical? That info will have an impact on what is the best way to market. Is it one product or many? What kind of website do you have set up so far? Is it static product pages or do you have an e-commerce website already? How much traffic do you already get.

edit- I just looked at some of your other posts, and it looks like you already know how to do cl advertising and have been pretty successfull at advertizing for cpa offers among other things. So you already know how to promote for other peoples products, just do the same things to send the same amount of traffic to your own products and you should do great. Advertizing on facebook has worked pretty good for driving traffic to my website. Having a blog and placing an adlink to my other websites has worked pretty good.

That means you aren't selling them on eBay any longer? It is a whole lot easier to get traffic to eBay auctions than to a website. When I am selling something on eBay I always get traffic to these auctions without doing anything additional on my own.

To promote a website I would suggest to use some pinger and social bookmarker, also backlinks sites, press release sites. This always worked for me.
