    Hey:

I've been promoting my music channel heavy on:
    - Facebook Groups
    - Facebook Hashtags
    - Instagram Hashtags
    - Twitter Hashtags
    - Google+ Groups
    - Google+ Hashtags
    - Reddit subreddits

I've been seeing constant growth but its mostly from YouTube search and recommendations.

What is a source that I haven't tapped into?

Is there any secret to any other social networking site?

How do you mean sending traffic?
And is there an efficient way to grow accounts? I want most of my time to be spent on optimizing videos

You can do collaborations with other artists. Or pay other youtubers to promote your channel.

I think, facebook groups alone can make a lot of traffic to your videos

What would be the best way to ask for people to promote a channel for a payment? I'm at 70,000 subscribers now and nobody has ever asked me that, some small channels have thought that they could get shoutouts for free though..

How much could I get money from promoting other channels?

Start making covers of songs of famous musicians before they reach Top 40.

    For example:
The new album of Rihanna came out recently. Make covers of all of the songs and upload them on YouTube. I guarantee you that few of the songs on the album will reach Top 40. When those songs hit the top, people will be searching for covers (and believe me, people are crazy about covers!), your covers will be shown among the first search results or the first video suggestions, because there will be very few people who made covers for that song. People make covers after a song becomes famous, which is a huge mistake!

This way you will get a lot of views and a lot of subscribers!

I have a different type of channel than you're thinking ...

It is an unknown electronic music channel, the same can be done with remixes of top 40 songs. (Which is how I've gotten most of my views)

However, that brings me in mainstream listeners and I am interested in bringing in people that listen specifically to my type of music (e.g. house music).

    Thank you for your ideas.
