How to politely tell a service provider that I don't like their service?

So I've ordered a service from a reputed seller here. They're taking way too much time and most of their responses are vague. They're not communicating properly and that itself is very off-putting. I ordered their service 9 days ago and not even a bit of work was done so far. I was promised a report today and I did not get anything so far. I'm constantly mailing them for updates but in vain.

Now I just wanna tell them that I don't want their service and that I need a refund. But I don't know how to put it.

I didn't wanna post this in shitlist because I don't wanna get them a bad rep. It's just me that's not satisfied with their service after all. Any advice on how to proceed is highly appreciated.

Tell them what you told us here in this thread.

    "To whom it may concern,

I understand that you've worked hard on creating your service, although I feel that it isn't meeting my expectations.

    • The report I was promised today was not delivered.
    • I'm not receiving updates on the status of my order.
    • The project hasn't been touched since I ordered it.
    • The staff communication has been unsatisfactory overall.
At this juncture, I wish to no longer do business with you and would like to request a refund for my undelivered order.
    "

Provide evidence for your statements and, in the event that they're rude about it, then you can ShitList them, but only do this as a last resort (if you feel that you've exhausted all other options).

Edit: Removed what I wrote, I agree with Zwielicht's course of action more than what I stated.

Puts you in a strong position to win a SL, if it comes to that. Hopefully it doesn't.

Dude its your money just tell them you want a refund. Unless they have already done the work then you might be shit out of luck. You can't just accept their work and then decide you want a refund. Be more cautious about what you buy on this site because a lot of the sellers on here are not very professional.

Would love to know who the 'reputed' seller is. 'Out them' in the thread as a fair warning to others.
    Hope everything works out.

If anyone is reputed member then does it give them right to cheat others? Just put your message in their sales thread so others will also aware, what they might have to face if they do business with this seller.

Hey thanks a lot for the response guys. I'm gonna give them one full day to reply. If they can manage to provide the service within that time, I'll probably ask the mods to delete this. I did tell them I want a refund after seeing Zwielicht's reply. But no response yet.

You sure that's a good idea?

It would probably be best to wait and see if they respond to you and provide the service before you take any action. What was their TAT (turnaround time), anyway?

Also, "reputed member" or not, the little stars next to an avatar don't change the circumstances. However, I'd personally like to know the seller's side of the story as well.

Yeah that's why I wanna wait for one more day. They didn't mention their TAT in the sales thread. But I read from the reviews that it was 6 days. I still wanted to wait a few days cause I really wanted that service. But this is too much and I'm a sucker for patience.

Edit: Seems the TAT was 4 days and not 6.

You can either issue a full refund on PayPal, if you don't want to out the seller. There is an option to issue a refund to the seller. Search for it or let me know, I will help you for sure.

I'm sorry, I don't follow. How do I issue a refund? Did you mean raise an issue with PayPal?

    Why, why don't you follow?

And yes, you can request refund from the side of PayPal. They will reach out to the person & help to claim your money. This don't hurt much.

    Best Wishes - BB.

After you have asked for a refund wait for 3-7 days for a respond and after that you can start a Shitlist to receive a refund and the seller to receive an infraction for a bad service. But always talk with your seller before using the shitlist option given the fact that anything can happen to delay your order. Nothing heals bad reputation.

I think this might be good way to get response from that seller. Just PM this thread then you will get quick response from that person else open a shit list.

Yeah. That's why I don't wanna shitlist them. They might have their reasons for not providing the said work in time. But all I'm asking is a proper timely response. Not even a single update till now.

Just drop them an email explaining everything.... its your hard earned money so you deserve to have a service you can use.... if the seller is any good then they will take on the comments and improve their service so you are really doing them a favour before they loose any more clients.
