I am looking to try out running Bing PPC ads, but a bit unsure what I should be looking for when it comes to good Keywords to run ads on. As of right now I don?t have any market or niche as I?m trying to use Bing keyword research tool "Bing Ads Intelligence" with a huge list of random keywords to try and find niches that have low cost CPC, about under $0.15 to start out with.
However I?m not sure if the past performance of a keyword is something I should be concerning myself with, mainly number of searches that month, impressions, clicks and CTR. So for example looking at one keyword I got data for ?how to draw a car?(I don?t care about this keyword itself, just an example), Bing Ads Intelligence is telling me that last month there were 2,476 searches and over 2000 impressions, but only 8 clicks. So even though there are a good amount of people searching about this, is the low clicks a sign that this keyword/niche is something people are not willing to click on ads about or is it a sign that the current ads being run under that keyword are bad and there is low competition?
Mainly do I want a keyword/niche that has signs of already doing well for others or is something with almost zero past clicks, but good amount of searches a sign that maybe it?s just an untapped market? Obviously the easiest way to find out would be to build a website and start a campaign, to see how it goes and in the future when I know more about what I?m doing I?m sure I will, but I am still learning all of this and would rather not waste my time on something that is obviously not worth it.
One other random question for anyone that uses Bing Ads Intelligence, but what exactly is ?Avg Bid?? I would think it?s similar to the CPC, but sometimes they vary wildly from each other.
Thanks.
