There are a lot of discussions on here about faking the referral, but for a CPA offer that I am running the advertiser wants me to pass the referring URL. I thought that it would just be passed automatically without me having to do anything, but the advertiser is complaining that I am not passing it. Can anyone tell me how to set it up so the real referrer gets passed?

I am sending real traffic but the advertiser says he is not getting the referer URL. Do I have to pass it somehow?

as long as the traffic is converting well for the advertiser, and all the leads are REAL and generating $ for the advertiser in the end, the only real reason i can see for them to be insisting on seeing your referer is to steal your traffic sources and squeeze you out of the loop.

because if all the above is true, there is really no other reason for them to know it. it could even be a shady cpa network telling you that the advertiser needs to see it, when really it is your shady acct manager who wants to see it to steal your traffic.

There is the redirection method. There are two options here: Java Script and Meta Refresh. I suggest you to use the Java Script option as its the most reliable way to pass the referrer on.
