    Hello,

This emd.net is online for more than 5 years and is there at the top for the same time, it was the first emd site created on this niche.

My emd.biz is on number 2 which is far behind in the quantity of content than emd.net

Now I also have emd.mobi which has double the content than emd.net
And in this niche about 30% of traffic come from mobile phones, so .mobi will go popular but I want to outrank that 5 year old site.

How have you done it before, outranked the number one competitor, please put some light

    Thanks :)

EMD & 5 year old doesn't necessarily mean that it's that hard. Do you want to play fair or not?

If yes, then just keep building highquality links and try to outrank him.
If no, DDOS the shit out of him till he drops.

    Cheers

Depends on the competition/niche and the number of domain/page links no.1 has...

If it's just age on his side, then that doesn't mean much. If he's a PR6 with 100k domain links then you aren't going to beat him with white hat!

Think outside the box a little.

I have noticed you can have a crap ton more backlinks than #1 but yet he will still be seemingly unbeatable.

Assuming you've maxed out your HPBL capacity, concentrate on things that you might have neglected.

    - Content length and richness (a good mixture of text, images and video).

    - If it's worth it, try to buy a YAHOO Dir. listing. This works really well in some cases with stiff page 1 competition.

    - If you already have a large amount of quality links, mix up link types now. Explore unique sources.

    - Work on your social signals. Try to create a social following. If the niche is not so great for social interaction, try to simulate it.

    - Fresh content is also very helpful.

Why do people word things like a statement in the subject line, then in the body they're asking a question.

    Subject:"How to lose weight"
Body:"Help me !! HOw do I lose weight????????"

    Subject:"How to rank your site"
Body:"Help me!! How do I rank site????"

It's really retarded and just pollutes the forum. You can't tell the difference between someone asking a question and someone writing a solution.

Indian or not, the OP's English is more than good enough to know the difference between a statement and a question. He's doing it to deliberately get people to click his thread.

    Don't know where you heard that, but it's nonsense. #1 is clicked around 50-60%, #2 10-25% and #3 5-15%

The clicks from #3 are nowhere near that of #1 unless #1 is not relevant in the eyes of the searcher for the query, which is rare.

I am getting 50k visitors per day and every post on my site is at least 4000 words or mostly over 4000 words.

I have done some irregular scrapebox blasts, xrumer blasts, wiki links etc

I have now decided to create a subdomian and doing all the blasts on it while it having linked to all the important pages on main page.

    But ....

what have you done before ?

You're right. That's not for SERP. That's for adwords. My bad.

It is priced 50,000$ and the niche have a cpc of less than 0.005$ but the guy at number 1 get about 300k to 500k visitors per day from google and these visitors click at least 1 outgoing link on average

My sites helped increasing the domain price :D so even the emd.net guy won't buy it

    Last year it was 30,000$

In yahoo directory emd.net is not listed and emd.net is PR 2
