There are a lot of online schools that will charge anywhere between $5k to $40k for a worthless diploma.

It seems like easy money. You just hire a couple of "professors" (who are basically retarded and dont know shit). you will also need a "counselor" who is nothing but a great sales woman that convinces people it's a good idea to sign up. as far as the online platform, I can install moodle, that's not a problem.

    let's see...conservatively, 10 students a year, $10k per student. that's $100,000 a year.

Anyone know how I can open my own online school? I would imagine there is a lot of regulations, right?

First, considering you want to profit off of this college campus, you're going to want to establish a business plan for a for-profit online campus. Next, you're going to require a team of professors, co-founders, and partners who also share the same vision as you. If you don't know how to attract these people, just offer the most covetous of them some incentive (*cough* money *cough*), that will certainly get their attention.

After you have your team established, you're going to want to lay out a business plan for your indoctrination mill, I mean online university, which would typically involve these basic factors including, but not limited to:
    • Running a cost-benefit analysis
    • Creating a webpage
    • Developing majors
    • Developing courses
    • Developing Curriculums
Once you have your university's identity established, you're going to want to become an accredited University. This involves contacting the DETC (Distance Education and Training Council) and paying a $1,500 up-front application fee which does not include the subsequent fees that involves paying for their trip to meet you and your team in person and reviewing your school and revenue to determine if your school complies with all of their policies.

If your online campus successfully complies with the DETC's numerous policies, you can begin the marketing phase of your business venture. Now, since you're going to want to lure your victims, I mean students, into your program by establishing trust and showing that your university is accredited and that they will indeed receive a piece of paper stating that they are at least generally cognizant about their field (this is also known as a "degree"). I recommend creating cheesy a advertisement that appeal to Neurotypicals, For example, you could depict a dispirited high school graduate barely making ends meet who is looking to make a difference in his life by going back to school. Be sure to include a scene where the formerly dispirited high school graduate is now an effervescent and successful nurse or engineer with a degree behind them.

What makes you think that they will be willing to pay you 10 grand a year? What do they get after graduating? If you give diploma, will it be impressive to show to, let's say, a company that you want a job?

I have no words. Nothing. It doesn't happen often, but now is one of those speechless times.

There was a guy years ago selling fake UCLA degrees. Dude had his own boat made 10 million with his diploma mill. Had a couple of secretaries wire him money while he was at sea globetrotting the world. LOL. My guess is those days are over, the internet has matured since then.

    Good Luck

Why would anyone just randomly be willing to spend 10k for a diploma from a school with no rep? Horrible idea

Basically you're trying to scam some people?

Not a good plan. Karma will get you back, bud.
