Hi,

Can someone teach me how to open a new account with Adwords. I used to have an adwords account and it was suspended for not following their T&C. Few weeks ago I open another Adwords account, after 10 days. My account was suspended again..

What I did with the 2nd account
1) Format my PC - install a new XP with the same serial number.
2) Create a new user
3) Get a new Internet line - New IP
4) New Credit Card - Different name and address
4) Get a new Gmail account
5) Sign up a new adwords account
6) Copy old campaign to new adwords account by copying ads and keywords over. Do this over a period of 7 days.

I did change my ads but did not change my converting keywords in the new adwords account. And I never open my new adwords account on my old PC.

Now my question is how did google track me and suspend me again? Just before I sign up another account I want to know what should I do to prevent my new adwords from getting suspended again?

Can google track me when I login to my affiliate account using my old PC?

Thanks for all your help in advance.

I think the connection is made with the keywords. Even if you wait 7 days, it's pretty easy to find new accounts with exactly same keywords that an old account.

Do you close the old account before opening the new one?

The answer is very simple in your case and you made a very big mistake which I hope you wont be doing it in the feature: you used tha same computer. It doesn't matter that you reinstalled the Windows. Every computer has a MAC address (which is different fromthe IP address given by your network connection) and when you installed the new XP it didn't changed your MAC address which belongs to the computer itself. That'a your problem.

You either have to buy a new PC, use a friend's pc or go to an internet caffe.

You say you copied the keywords from the banned account. This has nothing to do with your new account getting banned. Only f you also used the same domain name.

Just to clear something up...the MAC address of your computer (really it's the MAC of your LAN card) cannot be seen outside your local network. It is only used by your router to know which machine on its local network to pass data to. When your router communicates info to the rest of the world, all it passes is its own MAC. And every router along the way only sees the MAC of the last router that sent the info.

Now if you're running Adwords Editor on your machine, it's possible that your computer's MAC could be communicated. But if you're just using the online interface, it's impossible to know your computer's MAC.

As a side note, I don't see what would be so hard about comparing campaign/adgroup names, keywords, and ads to other accounts. If they match, easy to assume it's from the same user.

Guys keep in mind that they record your affiliate ID's from popular affiliate networks!!!

So dont use the same clickbank hop url from previous account(s)! Affiliate networks like CJ too.

They actually ban the entire "affiliate link" and once you use that affiliate link again in your destination urls the system detects it!

I speak from practical experience!

Keep the above factors in mind!

I'm gonna try buying a cheap PC. Just the main unit for now. Using my existing monitor, keyboard, mouse, etc. Also I'll use an elite paid proxy. I'll tell you how it goes.

Good info all.. rather than a new PC (or at least as an alternative).. get remote access to a windows VPS.. lot cheaper than a new PC. The rest of the above advise is sound, pay heed.

On another thread a guy recommended creating a new user on your computer and only using this for adwords. If I don't install google toolbar or adwords editor on this user will they still know my mac address?

If google bans Affilite link IDs ... then that must mean you can't promote that network any more? Most networks dont have affiliate ID encryption.

It's like this!

If you clickbank ID is ?hop=23478, they record it it the system.

So if you set up a campaign in new account with that same hoplink visible on the site, they will ban the account.

In a new adwords account you absolutely must use a brandnew hoplink. In other words open a new Clickbank account.

You can promote the network, BUT with a different affiliate ID!

One thing people forget all times is screen resolution!

Google track screen resolution on adwords, so you are banned because you have same keywords + same screen resolution = Red flag!

You can also be banned by geo location, its another combination who raise a red flag.

Wow .. glad I didnt use any marked AFF IDs yet. Nice thing about CJ is you can encrypt them. MY CC went through when I set up my new account (guess thats a good thing). I an a test ad tonight on a friends computer but a few hours later an no impressions. Perhaps my new account is under review, Crossing my fingers.

What if you do a redirect? Will that work?
