I was curious if anyone had any good strategies on how to not get banned on MeetMe. Their policies seem to be incredibly strict, because the first account I made was banned within 5 minutes because of the profile picture which was totally appropriate, and the second account I made got banned after about 20 minutes of me using it to chat with people and send links.

MeetMe seems to have a ton of potential for the kind of marketing that I am looking to do, especially with their boost feature that can put you in front of a huge audience, but it seems very hard not to get banned.

Is letting the account age the best strategy?

Thanks for any insight you can provide.

Is it possible to share the picture? I might be able to offer some insight. No promises, though.

What you should be doing is to put your email address in the profile. Do not post links. Add only pictures that are unique and resemble what a real person will share. Do not push for people to contact you. There will always be people who will contact you eventually when they see your profile and email address.

Next use a problem like TEARS to do autoresponder to promote your offer.

If I may ask, what have you used MeetMe to do in particular?

Aged accounts mean nothing to them. An account that I had for like 7 years got banned after running an iMacro to admire a couple hundred people. I have had quite a few more since then that I have tried to automate, used a proxy, tried to randomize the clicks between each admire and friend request, made them slower with random delays and whatnot but it always ends in a ban. All of my accounts were of just me. Real name, real pictures, real everything and I never made any attempt to market anything, but I still got the ban hammer every time.

    Good luck with that site
