On new machine install chrome browser and login with your credentials that you are used on your old machine - login with your google / chrome account, and browser will automatically be populated with your cookies, bookmarks and passwords.

    Home Page:
Never tried for chrome, since I'm not using it. For firefox though, you just have to copy a folder, and that's it.
Pretty sure the same applies for chrome. What folder to copy ? That depends on what operating system you're in.
For linux it's ~/.chromium and ~/.mozilla. For windows it should be in the AppData folder. Not sure about mac.

What @miklaus said, would also work, but in case you're not using your google account, moving the folders is
    probably the way to go.

This one might also help: http://bfy.tw/6zGO :)

Well boy , it's not that hard lol

Log in to the current browser installation and check out the sync settings , make sure to check the bookmarks , history or whatever you might want to get synced on the other installation

install chrome on the other computer , log in , give it a minute or two and voila you should be pretty much done :)

That's it , you can also use xmarks for bookmarks

^^ exactly, just log in :) once logged in it will sync, and then on new computer log back in and it will transfer everything - bookmarks, bookmark bar, passwords, plugins, homepage(s) etc.

If you can't do this then there is a guide here for doing manually and/or with third party tool-
