How can I monitor serps? By this, I don't mean "how do I keep track of my rankings"

I am trying to identify sites that experiencing significant changes in the SERPS. so for example if a site was #39 yesterday and today it jumps to #12, I want to be alerted about it. If someone was #8 and suddenly drops to #79 I want to know about it.

is it possible to monitor the search results for your keywords to see how things are changing every day? if that's not possible, maybe someone could make a software and bank. It seems like a smart idea.

Some SEO services do offer something like this. I tried to find one that sends me these emails alerts but I purged my email inbox recently.

Serpwoo looks promising. Have you used it?

If you want to see the latest top Trends what people are searching for use Google Trends. It will not give you any position SERP information though.

I've used Serpwoo and it's great for monitoring niches. However, it's also only the first 20 results of the SERPS. A lot of data... if you have the time to make use of it, then it's awesome. If you're interested in a paid account PM me. I have an old account with them which gives me benefits (almost 3x the number of keywords for same price advertised). If you're wanting to take over something like that I would give it to you.

    Cheers
