How to monitor parasite rank?

How can i monitor if a parasite is ranking on search engines? i see very often people working with parasites but i don't figure how to monitor the ranking, i.e. for medium post, how can i see if the post is doing well apart from internal and mostly irrelevant data provided by medium itself. How can i check the google rank?

Just like you do with any other site, use rank tracker or manual method.
