I've had a lot of decaptcher credits sitting in my account for the last couple years and since I'm not really in the business anymore I'd like to find some way to monetize them and just generally get rid of them. How would you go about doing so?

I have come up with the following ideas so far:

    • Use them to solve captchas on another site which might pay me as a "typer"
    • Post them on some auction site (not sure if that's allowed)
    • Write an account generator and peddle the accounts. I'm not sure what unaged accounts for anything are going for these days. Certainly at least 1.39/k? I'd appreciate any suggestions in that department.
    • Write some other software to quickly use them in some other automated fashion to generate cash, but I don't want it to turn into a multi-month project or advertising gig, etc. Posting blog comments and such is out, as I don't want to deal with that at this time. Maybe there's a MMORPG where captchas can generate simoleans and I can hawk the game currency to a distributor?

Any other suggestions? I'm a decent programmer w/ 20+ years of experience so I can write anything that needs to be written. I just don't want to have to sit here and manage the thing day to day. Blast em out and collect some money, if possible.

Humancoder is "the same"? I hadn't even heard of them until just now. I checked out the site and they're much cheaper than de-captcher so I doubt they're owned by the same people. Maybe you meant they were using the same software. That's certainly possible.

And yes, on de-captcher there is a way to transfer the credits to a different account. As luck would have it I just took on a programming job which required captcha input and the client said he'd take some off my hands at 50% to use with his new bot. So at least that's something.

Several thousand USD. When my 90 days are up here I'll pay for a BST ad and get rid of whatever I have left but that doesn't really help me now. That's why I was looking for a way to spend them or some clever idea to 'convert' them to something a bit more useful to me.
