NFL football season starts very soon and millions (yes, millions) of people will be online looking to watch live football streams. Here is very solid method which can bank you tens of thousands during the football season, and best part is you can outsource ALL the work and sit back and collect a check every 2 weeks.

Background: The US Government shut down the most popular websites which provided links to the football streams (sites such as ATDHE, Channelsurfing, etc...). You can read an article here to see:

    Code:
    http://www.scamfreeinternet.com/2011/02/atdhe-net-firstrow-net-shut-down-by-ice/
This happened around February of this year. So when people go online this year to watch football they will panic because they won't know how to watch the games anymore. Some of these sites popped back up under country level domain extension codes, but they aren't getting indexed in Google due to NFL filing DMCA complaints to Google against them.

So what have people done in the past and what will they do even more this year? They go onto NFL team forums/message boards and ask where they can watch the game online. These forums get millions of visitors during the season, and this is HIGHLY targeted traffic.

    Method:

    1. Get an affiliate account at a company that offers a football streaming software product (you can find your own affiliate company, or you can visit the one in my signature. I know the account manager that runs it there and he is very cool guy, and their software is the best software around and landing pages convert the best.). They offer a fixed priced product, a product which when you close out the page will offer the person a 50% discount in order to try to convert them, or a $4.95 rebill offer to try to entice them.

    2. Make a list of all the NFL football forums. You can either do this manually through Google, or use Scrapebox. Here is a list of all the teams, just add "forum" or "message board" to each team. Make sure you do custom footprint if you use Scrapebox because you don't want to find Wordpress blogs, you want to find forums or message boards.

    Code:
    Arizona Cardinals
    Atlanta Falcons
    Baltimore Ravens
    Buffalo Bills
    Carolina Panthers
    Chicago Bears
    Cincinnati Bengals
    Cleveland Browns
    Dallas Cowboys
    Denver Broncos
    Detroit Lions
    Green Bay Packers
    Houston Texans
    Indianapolis Colts
    Jacksonville Jaguars
    Kansas City Chiefs
    Miami Dolphins
    Minnesota Vikings
    New England Patriots
    New Orleans Saints
    New York Giants
    New York Jets
    Oakland Raiders
    Philadelphia Eagles
    Pittsburgh Steelers
    San Diego Chargers
    San Francisco 49ers
    Seattle Seahawks
    St. Louis Rams
    Tampa Bay Buccaneers
    Tennessee Titans
    Washington Redskins
    3. Create a redirect page. A simple php redirect page on a domain you own or just buy one for $10. Get something like Football-Online-Here.com or whatever will work. Redirect your homepage to your affiliate link.

    4. Now go to all these forums on Sunday at around 10:00 a.m. (eastern standard time) and start posting messages that people can watch all the games at YOUR-SITE.com (you can also do this on Monday night for the monday night football game or on Thursday when there is a Thursday night game). Something as simple like that will work, or come up with your own spin on what to say to try to get higher clickthroughs. This part you can also automate by hiring outsourced workers who work for $1/hour. Have them work 8 hours a day that day. One sale will give you a 50% commission which is up to $23... so if they get 1 sale each you make money. If they work well there is no reason they can't drive anywhere from 10 to 100 sales on a football Sunday. My advice, hire as many people as you can. If you hire 20 people, it will cost you $160 in wages for the first week of the regular season on Sunday. If you do this correctly no reason you can't clear $X,XXX or higher on this one day. After you clear the money hire even more the next people for the next week. Towards the end of the season the interest will die down so you won't make as much, but every worker you hire should clear you at least 1 sale a day and so you'll always turn a profit. Another very popular place to post this on that I never see anyone do is gambling forums. Football gamblers LOVE to watch the games they bet on. And gamblers have money to spend. You can convert them with your eyes closed.

You could off course use Facebook, Craigslist, or other highly traffic'd sites, I'm sure they would work, but in terms of your target market, going onto football forums and gambling forums is the most targeted approach.

To set this up correctly will take you no time at all... maybe 2 hours. This is about as automated as you can get, and it works. And whether you are a pro or a newbie you should be able to set this up and make money. If you give this method a shot and you fail you should consider quitting IM because I've taught this method to a family member (my cousin) who is a total moron (TOTAL MORON) and even the moron was able to make $500 profit a week on average every week the last football season.

Great share, thanks! My only concern is whether there won't be literally hundreds of other affiliates on these forums doing the same thing.

Fantastic share. I know first hand that people will be looking to stream this stuff. Great idea to monetize.

Depends if people reading this thread take action :)

Usually, people who attempt to do this go onto sites like Justin.tv or Ustream.tv and post their URLs in the chat application that is found on each stream. This worked well 2 years ago until Justin and Ustream started shutting down the live streams. Now all the streams on those sites are spam. And people are still there promoting their affiliate links (like morons) when all the traffic that would convert has gone elsewhere after realizing those sites have nothing more then fake spam streams nowadays.

    The forums are relatively clean.

I forgot to mention... For a decent number of NFL forums they require manual approval. So if you're going to do this yourself or hire workers, make sure you apply for your forum accounts maybe a week in advance of when you actually want to start doing it so that your account can be approved.

It sounds great, but it can be saturated very fast there is not enough forums for this.

Forums could become saturated I suppose, but think broader if that is your concern... PPV is cheap way to get views and you can target forums, sports sites, etc... PPC for sports is relatively cheap... Create your own football forum and you will have a cash cow for a few months out of the year... many other options.

Great method. I do something similar to this during the year. And a quick tip. The sunday and monday night games are big!! I cant remember which one is on espn but thats the biggest because you have to have cable to get it.

Also try some article marketing for it. Try some of the bigger games for each week and right a short article like "Watch Packers vs Saints Online Free"

Wasnt a lot of competition for terms like that last year.

In your experience, have you not just been caught out on these forums as someone who is posting his own affiliate link? Or do you build up a reputation first and then provide the link?

Also, am I right in saying the season begins in September?

    Thanks for sharing buddy!

If you use a domain redirect as the OP suggested it won't look like you are posting an affiliate link but a direct link to the website. ;)

Preseason starts August 11th. Not sure how many people will be trying to find some preseason games though.

    Regular season starts September 8th.

This sounds like a pretty sound method from my noobish perspective. I'm getting on it right freakin now, just one thing- where do you hire these workers at 1$/hour? . If I didn't have the start up capital, I wonder if it would be possible to get workers on a commission only basis, im just thinking this could be a bitch to try and track their performance?

    To answer a few questions that were asked;

    - You can get banned from forums. How long your account lasts depends on how you word your post. The more aggressive you are in wording the more hits you'll get but the faster you'll be banned. I am very aggressive, so I hire someone to create for me 100 accounts at each forum. I can burn maybe 5-10 of them on any given sunday. But it is more then worth it. Or you can build up a respectable account, put a signature in there if the forum allows it, and you'll get hits for a long time to come.

    - Preseason in my experience is about 15%-20% of what regular season will bring. Preseason is usually only for diehard fans, regular season is everyone.

    - $1 an hour can be found at any outsourcing place where there's people from pakistan, phillipines, china, india. best workers i find are females for this type of work. the males get bored very quickly. Most people will not work on commission basis. They need a guaranteed wage.

There is also a trick to use a Google URL which will direct to your homepage so it looks like you're posting a link to Google. Can't remember it offhand but it was working nicely for me last year.

To answer a few similar questions I've gotten through PMs:

    1. Payouts - In my experience I have been paid out every 2 weeks, on time, every time. Their payouts are just as reliable as a top tier program like Clickbank.

    2. There is a $100 minimum payout required... meaning if you don't earn $100 then whatever you earned will be rolled over to the next payment period.

    3. I have not used XRumer (because I don't own XRumer) to try to post a million messages in forums with a link so I don't know how the success rate would be.

    4. I'm not going to give any tips on PPC to drive traffic and sales (sorry) because I don't want to increase my cost per click when other people jump in on the terms I'm using.

    5. I'm not going to share how much I've made through this method. I will say it is a very profitable method and leave it at that.

I have a domain that would be perfect for this since I tried doing some similar stuff with for the Champions League (soccer) a few months ago, so I'll give this a shot :)

Hey OP thanks! Any chance we can promote this via Youtube and Social media such as FB? Why not make a little extra cash for little work in something that comes once a year! ;)
