Hey guys,

I've got a few very popular free ebook, free movie and free song sites. I'm getting over 100 000 visitors a day and plenty of clicks.

When I had adsense up there, I was making good money, but adsense keeps banning the accounts I put up on those sites.

I've tried other PPC alternatives, but most of them either pay shit or don't pay at all.

Now I'm trying promoting a few offers, but can't find any that convert well. I'm trying Classic Book sites, Magazine Subscriptions, T-shirt hell, dating, anything!

Its good mix of global traffic as well.

What would you guys suggest I try? Do you of any networks I could sell per PPM or PPC that pay well?

you could try content locking, but unless you have something that's hard to find elsewhere, not sure how successful it would be.

maybe you could try it out?

PM me,i would like to discuss this with you.Have few things in mind, that will work 101 % !

I thought about it, but I would kill my traffic if I started content locking. I doubt my surfers would want to fill forms or click on ads everytime they want a book.

You can try selling some other products/services related to SEO.

For free ebooks you can use content locker, if these ebooks are important they will fill a simple survey
so sign up into a cpa
then, for the movie and song site you can try content locker too, but is difficult, in the movie site you can set up the gateway after 2 minutes so when visitor are seeing a movie they will fill very fast the survey, but this cannot be good because they will not return

So you have to try

Not many content unlocker networks accept illegal movie/songs/etc websites, at least ours doesn't. I'm guessing all of your downloads are copyright material?

Its a mix of copyrighted and royalty free stuff. So yeah, content locking is a tricky endavour and since I'm a straight shooter with my affiliate networks, I won't send them any of that kind of traffic unless they approve it.

And adsense isn't a solution. The previous owner of the site has had a few accounts banned in the past from these sites, so I won't be putting up my code either.

So here I am with all this traffic and dunno what I can do :(

Yes as a word of advice, definitely do not send any traffic unless you have it in writing that the network (if you choose a network) approves it.

Our network, Blue Track Media, personally won't approve that type of website for our content unlocker. But I've heard that there are some companies with an unlocker that accept that traffic.

hello

i also have record label website. he got limited traffic though , after 5-6 years of online publishing, we get about 200 unique a day. we want to give good user experience in our free music section with over 20 full length albums for download.

currently uploading we make 20$ a month or something. if we could somehow make a lil bit extra maybe 200 a month, then it will be amazing for our label and artists both. we will get money to get our music in better studios and also promote our artists better..we have been doing this kind of community service fr many years now.. any1 got advise or if sum1 want to suggest some strategy??

i was thinking of making a fresh website on my own hosting (unlimited package), put all the music files there, and somehow be able to monetize posting 1 new album a month (but unique not to be found anywhere, we report all our stolen music and get the links pulled pretty quick)

Your traffic will be considered on the same level as thepiratebay, warez, etc. The easiest thing to do is look at the offers/advertisers on those sites, and do the same for your site.

If you don't know how to trace affiliate offers, here's a quick tutorial.
1. Use Firefox.
2. get livehttpheaders addon
3. go to the website with ads
4. turn on livehttpheaders
5. click on an ad
6. look at livehttpheaders for the different url's, and you can see where everything redirects.
7. test out the individual redirect links until you find the affiliate network or the offer, and apply and use those offers on your own site.

as an alternative, you may just want to sign up for ad networks that allow for crappy traffic, like burst media, rubicon, valueclick, adbrite, tribalfusion, etc etc.
