    Hey guys,

I have 8 sites in the Video Game Niche that collectively attract more than 150,000 visitors per month but I only make close to 250$ per month from them. So far, I have tried (miserably) to monetize the site with Adsense and Amazon Affiliates. AdSense was ridiculous and now I only have Amazon Affiliates.

I have read several suggestions on BHW from previous threads such as:

    • PPD
    • CPA Content locker
    • Email gathering to Push Affiliates

I don't have any experience with PPD or Content Locker.

    I was wondering:

    1. What do you guys think is the best way to monetize a Video Game site?
    2. Where to get the best PPD offers?
    3. Which CPA Network to use for Content Locker?
    4. Any other way to monetize the site?

Thanks a lot for your help!

Forget Amazon & AdSense, promote Game Related CB products such as the GTA Plus product and you'll be making a lot more money! There's tons of Game Related products to choose from so your options are endless. With that many uniques per month you should easily be clearing $2,000 - $3,000 per month with the right monetization.

@Veyron Thanks, I'll try with a CB product on one of my site. I have tried strategy guides in the past but without much success, I'll try with a "Game tester" offer and see what I get.

As with anything else, I know it's a question of trying different things and see what works best but I was just wondering what to start with.

    Thanks again for the suggestion.

You could try some ad networks for gaming sites, for example when you play a flash game an ad shows on the game etc...

by the way how are the ways of bringing traffic to a site like this

@KardoseR Yeah I might try that eventually, thanks.

85-90% of the traffic is from SEO and good keyword targeting.

Try some game related offers from CPA companies. I dont do this myself but in their stats it seems stuff like World of tanks converts quite good with right traffic.

Whatever you do, don't use a content locker on it unless you want to ruin the site.
You can make some great money from it,

@Condadon I was thinking of going for a CB product on Video Game Testing Job. What do you think?

@Chicilikit Great, I'll try that to see if it works.

    @Googliz Thanks.

@BAirbone I have 8 sites on various popular video games and the demographics changes quite a bit between the games.

@ok888 Thanks I'll try a few CPA offers to see what works. I've read in previous threads to look for Empire Revenue, Neverblue and Ad4Game. Do you have any CPA Network that you recommend?

I would also consider possibly selling ad space. You say you get about 150,000 visitors per month - BuySellAds has people that have about the same amount if impressions/visitors and some sites charge up to $150 a month. Grab a few interested buyers for different spots on your website and you could definitely make some extra cash that way.

Promote a Gamefly Affiliate Offer. Most of the big CPA Networks have it. Pays anywhere from 8-12$ if they sign up for a free trial. Or if you have a commission junction account it is 25$ per signup.
