How would you monetize a site with a steady flow of 500 unique views a day? The site is oriented towards college students and is mainly an entertainment type site. Would you use Google adsense or something else?

    Thanks!

If you find some related CPA offers then go with CPA

If not then go with adsense

It all depends what the keyword it, I don't recommend telling anyone but it is relatively easy to find monetization methods.
If your keyword is for a product then you can sell the product through an appropriate affiliate program. If it isn't a buyer keyword but has a relatively good CPC value then adsense will probably be the best option.
You could also look for a CPA offer that is relevant and either build an email list and email people the offer or direct link it with banner ads. Direct links will bring money in faster but the email list will probably produce more money over time.

Very true, CPA would be a great option indeed.

Yep CPA oriented towards students. I recommend that you have a look at other similar sites to get ideas.
From the top of my head I'd say student insurance, student halls, food coupons (eg.pizza etc), movies, online gaming, as well as make money from home jobs

Sign up to different products that fit your site and use their affiliate banners. Much better than Adsense imo.

If you want to use Adsense please make sure you add a Privacy and Policy page. But i do recommend affiliate products. You can use both , but that will strain your website

Set-up a local business directory and list everything there is within 5 miles or so. Feature reviews of local establishments, i.e. bars, clubs, etc.... Keep in mind you have a large population of people that are from "somewhere else", and they are going to rely on online resources for online "things to do", "places to go".

Then sell premium listings and advertisements directly to local businesses.

You can also set-up a secondary local seo business and use the connections you are creating for the 1st site to create connections to the local businesses in other areas, i.e. site creation & Local SEO.

I am forming a skype-based, online Local SEO "study group", and all are welcome to join. Please send BHW username via my skype link above to join.

I had a similar idea to that. It would take a lot of time to get all of that information as the site deals with multiple colleges, but I definitely see potential there. Thanks!
