I listen to a lot of music, so I started a blog recently just for fun. My primary focus isn't really making money with it, but if I could make some money with it, that would be awesome. So I thought I should ask around the community what monetization techniques others are utilizing?

I know adsense wouldn't really help, and would make the blog look shitty to visitors. I was thinking more along the lines of contextual ads and/or CPA. Ideas?

finding a club that has a lousy night and needs bands. You agree to book bands. Book bands, dj's, etc. and get % off door. Profit.

Oh you mean internet only? Not sure, most local bands are broke - so you might offer helping them in this area? (websites, selling music, helping find venus to play, etc.)

Haha, interesting ideas. Combining offline with online would definitely be a profitable approach. But I'm looking more in the terms of just online monetization such as Amazon, etc.
