How to make money with a movie/series streaming website without a bunch of non-sense ads and no torrents.

How can I monetize this ?
Ofc it needs to have some ads somehow, but I don't want to make it look spammy.

So far, pre-roll ads is one of the mechanics I use, instead of having 100's of banners and popunders. Eventually I removed most of the popunders and kept the pre-rolls and increased the CPM cost.

which networks takes movie niche sites that allows you to put pre-roll ads?
 
Run TAME adult dating ads or tasteful webcam ads

This would work best on streaming sites that cater to GUY-FRIENDLY genres like action movies / suspense / horror

Romantic comedies? Forget it!
