I want to try and make some monthly recurring income from this, even if its very little.
I tried amazon affiliate but that did not work.
Can I make money by gaining followers to a spotify playlist?

I think you make money by simply promote using your spotify other artist or collaborate in a way with them

where do I find these artists? Is there a platform? Should I DM them or will they hit me up on their own

Try to reach "underground" artists if they are interested in some publicity
I tried this before no one cared lol, I think they just receive so much spam from these promotion bots no one bothers anymore. Im gonna start a blog and make money from the ads.

What about sneakers stores, sellers etc you have the right audience I think to convert any money from them (just a thought)

reach out upcoming artist for posts or stories, just go on bigger pages and see people commenting about their page etc, look for some who have actually money to spend

I cant lie most of my followers are from the third world, India, south america, africa, I don't think I can sell them regular priced sneakers and stuff, I tried amazon affiliate selling posters but no one bought that shit. I was thinking maybe if there was an established brand that would wanna sponsor my page for like $50 a month I can make some extra income like that.

Making cash directly from Spotify followers is tricky, but there are ways to turn it into a little income stream. Check out services like SoundCampaign: .... They connect artists with playlist curators, and you can earn per song you review for artists trying to get on playlists. The more followers you have, the better your rates can be.

I used to be in this niche, not for biz but I just follow as I like hip hop/ rap. Not sure what theme your page follows, but I know a lot of the hip hop/ rap meme & media/ news pages do a lot of paid shoutouts. But the catch is you may have to grow you page a bit more, to like 50-100K+, then you'll see a lot of soundcloud and upcoming artists reach out to you since you got the numbers.

Along with that a lot of the rap meme pages would sometimes just promo general CPA offers like win a free iphone etc. Not sure how much it converts for them, but I guess it at least brings in a bit for them to do it here and there again - if you do it just dont overdo those offers too much to piss off your audience/ get unfollowed.

Yeah. It is the good idea to monitize.
There are many people on comment sections always asking to check their music page. Other option could also to find beat kits and resell them. Someone I know made a killing selling beats to artists.
