Hello,

I have a website of aprox 1.2 mil unique visitors monthly and I wanted to know if you have any ideas how I can earn some $$$ out of it.

I used adsense for search but they banned my account.
I was making a few hundred $$$ per day.

I have also tried sedo parking, and with proper keywords i made about 100 euros per day, but yet again they have banned me.

Now I am using other ad services but they pay too low.
The site is a search engine using google search, and has about 10.000 searches per day.

Do you have any what can I do with it?

Thanks.

i would say put up a few affiliate banners, but their must be a reason you keep getting banned

had a similar problem >>> I did not get banned but still I made a script something like adsense for search but instead of pulling ads It does pull clickbank products and actually it now makes me more money than adsense before

Anyways ... if you need it I can give it away for a few bucks -- > [email protected]

what is typed in traffic? ...........................

Type-in traffic is a term describing visitors landing at a web site by entering a keyword or phrase (with no spaces or a hyphen in place of a space) in the web browser's address bar (and adding .com or in a mobile browser address bar and adding .mobi or any other gTLD (generic top-level domain) or ccTLD extension (country code top-level domain); rather than following a hyperlink from another web page, using a browser bookmark, or a search-box search. Type-in traffic is a form of direct navigation.

Also, alexa traffic rank is: 40,905

Um, you have a ton of type-ins for a domain and a parking service booted you? What am I missing here?

typed in traffic is traffic that comes from people just typing the url in themselves as opposed to clicking a link

I just emailed you for more info :)

I do not know why they banned me, but they said google did it.
WTF?

Adsense worked for 2 month and received 1 payment and they banned me in the first week of the third month.
It may be that some stupid user just clicked on ads, I think.

Awesome! Can you not send the traffic from the type-in traffic to another site via a link on some kind of landing page.

Is your type in site a typo of a popular domain?

I could send the traffic to other domains easily with referrer and all, but because I used adsense and parking, I was not allowed to get advertised traffic.
Only SE and typed-in.

Do you have any idea about this? :)

wtf? Thats kind of lame.

But I was thinking "kind of" the same thing.

You create a PHP script on the index page that adds a cookie to the visitors browser, let's call this stage1, after which the script redirects the visitor to another page where the stage2 script is. Now the stage1 cookie is removed and replaced with the stage2 cookie (but only if the stage1 cookie is enabled, otherwise this would create a infinite loop), and redirects the user back to the original site which now accepts the user to the real website, and this time the user has a referer.

The good part of this idea would be that the script only operates on the assumption that stage1 and stage2 have been completed. So you could basicly upload the script to 1,000,000 different locations, have a central database that has all the required URLs to the locations of the different scripts (the scripts could report their location upon activation), and then the index script on your site could link randomly to any one of these URLs which link back with a different referer almost everytime.

I don't know if that counts as search engine or advertisement traffic though.

Idea number 2:

Create a dozen websites that you can monetize without a problem. Then put a script on the website you're having trouble with that randomly links to one of these monetizable websites. You can maybe optimize this traffic by using a geo-location script or something.

That's a very interesting idea, but I think that might be considered "bad traffic" by advertiser companies.
I will search for more info about this.

Thank you for the idea :)

Not a single parking company would ban a domain for genuine type-in traffic. Unless it's all Chinese traffic and you have ads targeting a English demographic.

There is something else you don't want to share.

If you get 1.2 mil type-ins on a domain then it's either a killer generic domain or a awesome typo of a very large traffic site.

Yes, that could be another good idea.
Thanks again.

Well, the traffic is from "indirect advertising" if you know what I mean.
The weird thing is that it was running great on adsense for 2 months.
If there was something not good with it, they should have banned us from the first week or so.

You could sell some of the traffic. That would be a huge income. I have seen folks pay alot for 10k over a month, Something to consider.
