    Hey guys.

I have a meeting today with the owner of a local Health & Fitness Club. I've got a bunch of talking points written out.

Anyone have any experience or ideas, for marketing a Health Club? White/Black Hat Offline/Online?

local advertizing would have to be best coz if they saw your stuff online is irrelevant if they dont live close by, as they cant use the club?

Buy or Rent a mailing list in that zip code and perhaps be specific on income range, age, gender, etc...

The best way to market local businesses online is using Google Locals with Business Center. It is a consistent performer for me and it is fast and pretty easy. You can find it in your google account.

They are the businesses that show up when you type in any service with the maps form A-E or whatever(they are geo-targeted), and it is free to add a business. Ranking them is a different story but it can be done rather easily with the right techniques.

Check out this site h**p://www.localseoguide.com/ for a lot of local marketing ideas.

Yelp is also going to be big in the future, so talk about that and google buying it

I would say doing link building in a black hat way is ok as long as you do white hat for the other marketing techniques.

    Good Luck
