    Hi guys

I made someone a site based on css/html. I did not build it from scratch, it was a template that I downloaded and modified.
anyway, after everything was done, he asked me to make it mobile friendly so it will load nicely on mobile devices like iphone, ipad, and others.

If he had told me he wants a mobile friendly website right from the beginning, I would have used a responsive template.
but at this point, I dont know what to do. Is there a service or website that will generate a mobile friendly version of your site?

I could also get a responsive template and upload it to mobile.website.com and redirect mobile users to that url. But this means I have to make a whole new site for mobile users, which I would like to avoid if possible.

    what do you suggest?

I would suggest to redo the template and make it responsive. Use a Grid-Framework for it. Of course it´s a bit more work but depending on the framework you choose then you can make the layout fit on every device. But you can also make the responsive layout just on that mobile subdomain and make a redirect for mobile agents.
