    Hi guys

    The 20th of june my competitor started a negative seo campaign on my website and sent me many thousands of links every day and now it payed off for him :(.

    I have this document with all the spammy links, but I found out you only have to sent rootdomain of the linking domains to google disavow tool, and I have the entire URL of where spammy links to my website is placed.

    So I was wondering if there is any easy way to remove all the text after .TLD/remove-all-stuff-here

    you have scrapebox? you can trim to root domain. If not, copy the list to a notepad++ document, choose: "Find & Replace", enable regular expression mode, replace all "http://" with nothing, and then run this Regex pattern in the find field "/.*" (without quotes), and replace with nothing.

    Mrblackjat just told you step by step how to do it, no need to pay anyone.

    To make his instructions more clear:

    1) Download Notepad++ (free software)
    2) Copy-paste the list of links into Notepad++
    3) Select Search > Replace from the menu
    4) Enter "http://" (without the quotes) in the "Find what:" field, leave the "Replace with:" field empty and click "Replace All"
    5) Select Search > Replace from the menu again
    6) Enter "/.*" (without the quotes) in the "Find what:" field, leave the "Replace with:" field empty and click "Replace All"

    Congratulations, you now have a trimmed list.

    You're welcome and may now buy me a beer.

    Bryan

    P.S. This whole thing will take approximately 2-5 minutes.
