    I have a wordpress blog which has a top/header menu bar and a side bar with the same links in it. In order to make it easier for the spiders to crawl my site I would like to make one of the bars no-follow. I looked for plugins but haven't found any that does this. Could someone show me how to hardcode this? Or does anyone know how to do this any other way?

    Yeah, I tried that but I couldn't wrap my head around it. The links that appear in the sidebar are dynamically pulled from another file. This is what the code looks like:

    Code:
    <div id="sidebar-left" class="sidebar">
    <?php // do we hide this sidebar?
    if (!get_theme_mod( 'sbl' )) { ?>
    <ul class="menu">
    <?php /* WordPress Widget Support */
    if (function_exists('dynamic_sidebar') and dynamic_sidebar('left-sidebar')) { ?> <?php } else { ?>
    <li><h3><?php _e('Pages')?></h3>
    <ul><li>
    <a href="<?php echo get_option('home'); ?>/">
    <?php _e('Home'); ?></a>
    </li>
    <?php wp_list_pages( 'title_li=&depth=1' ); ?>
    </ul></li>
    <?php wp_list_categories('optioncount=1&hierarchical=0&title_li=<h3>'.__('Categories').'</h3>'); ?>
    <?php } ?>
    </ul>
    <?php } ?>
    </div>
    Where should I insert the no-follow tags?

    Robots.txt blocks out the entire subdirectory so I don't think that's going to help.
