Just looking for someone to point me in the right direction.

I have a movie that I recorded years ago that is pretty popular (especially around christmas time) and is nowhere to be found on the internet (no streaming, no dvds, etc). I've seen people on message boards ask about the movie, where they can buy it, where to watch online, etc and nobody has an answer.

I'm pretty positive I can rank #1 for the relevant keywords in google and I'm just looking to make some $$ as safely as possible (if its possible).

I've never tapped into this kind of marketing but I figure I will give it a try and try to make something out of it. If it was up to me I would make copies and sell for $10/ea but I'm pretty sure that's illegal so yeah not a good idea.

    Any thoughts?

    Yeah, right.
    Top of the 3-pack
Another and similar tactic to what Autosum said is to get a script called Blackhat Code Breaker. I'm pretty sure I saw it in the Downloads section. If not, it's about $30 if I remember correctly.

The main difference is that you're not limited to a CPA gateway, etc. You can point it to anything you want them to do to get access.

The sneaky thing to do is put a short (30 seconds) clip of the desired video that autoplays when they hit the site. At second 31 - BAM!!! - the screen grays out and a box pops up that says "Go HERE To Do BlahBlahBlah" (or "Join My Exclusive Membership Site for $9.99/month).

You're sure this isn't "The Christmas Story" or "It's A Wonderful Life"? :D
