How to make program (Python, PHP, or?) to find position on Google?

Hey, i would like to make for my college an simple program in Python, PHP or any other language? that can find me correct position of my site for any KW. But to be updated and to search more then first 10 results? Is that possible? Does any one of you guys has source of some software like that? Also i would need it for my job, to can easily check positions. Thanks

Of course it is possible. It's not very hard and you can do it in any language. See some examples of Python and PHP to see which syntax you like the most and use that language.
