I've been using Paypal with my Visa-card for years now, but recently I attached my bank account to it as well.

    I live in EU country.

Question is: if I'm going to make a payment that is greater than my Paypal Balance has funds, how do I make it to charge rest of the money straight from my bank account instead of my Visa-card?

Or is this even possible with european bank accounts and Paypal?

it is possible but you will have to go to your bank and pay in the money on your paypal balance manually... I have a german paypal acc with bank acc and everything and they always use my CC and never the bank acc

Im from UK and paypal takes money out of my bank account, because i have attached my debit card to the account as primary payment and credit card as secondary payment.

So i would enter your debit card details in paypal and set it as your primary payment, so if there isnt enough funds in the paypal account, your debit card which is attached to your bank account will get charged.

yeah, I've been using the top-up-account -option as well, but it takes 3-5 days to get the money to my Paypal account.

well yeah... seems like that paypal cannot take money directly out of your bank acc... they can only pay in... since in the verification process they pay you some small amount and don't charge it back... just put your CC or DC as your primary funding option... or pay manually via bank transfer

    Just verify your PayPal account.

You are asked to input all your bank account details, not your CC or DC.
Then PayPal deposit 2 small amounts of less than £1.
You then need to get a mini statement of your account after a few days and input the 2 amounts to prove that it is your bank account.

After this you are verified and PayPal funding comes directly from your bank account.

    Hope this helps.

    **Edit**
Just for information, I currently don't have any valid card attached to my account, just my bank account.
