So I want to start giving seminars. I have taken a few public speaking classes and have spoken a few times to crowds of 15-20 people. i feel comfortable and want to start giving seminars on helping people start making money online. I personally have made some money with online methods. Many I have learned here :)

It would be a seminar maybe an hour long each. Consisting of 2 or 3 sessions. I use prezzi as a visual in my presentations.

How would I go about finding people interested in this? Craigslist? How much money would you recommend I charge?

    Any advice is welcomed :)

This is a loaded question. There are several ways to set up a seminar pricing structure. There is doing it for free to attendees and push your products. There is charging per attendee and having a very minimal turn out but they will be serious. There is making your seminar larger, with multiple speakers, charging THEM to push their products. There is having attendees RSVP and placing small print saying by agreeing to come to your seminar they may be contacted by like minded services, then sell the leads to local insurance companies, financial services companies, other MLM marketers etc.

It really all depends on how involved you want it to be. You also need to build a reputation to charge for seminars in my opinion.

Unless of course you set it up as a class, in which case most people will want a minimum of 4hrs, preferably an all day course in making money online, covering several modules. I think to answer your specific questions it all depends on what YOU feel comfortable doing.

Yes, I am thinking something like a 2 hour class about learning to set up a website. Then everyone goes home and sets up their site. The next class will be about setting up the site etc.. etc... Maybe like 100$ for the total of 3 2 hour classes

How could I go about finding people to want to take my class

Set it up as a class, push the GoDaddy affiliate and hosting thing, burn them a CD (old school i know), or set up a password protected website so they feel all cool and put your affiliate links to every product you pushed in the seminar. Could make some decent money.

I say take a selection of products that you can push, hold the seminar for free, give a lot of good info, definitely make it worth their while and not just a full out marketing blast. Then as they leave after listening to you and you have built their trust tell them to go to your website with unique password and they can download the select products from your personal collection to get them started. All of your affiliate and reseller approved products of course.

Might take a little while to construct your class materials, but if you do 2 or 4 hours and get a couple GoDaddy with hosting affiliates thats a couple hundred bucks for 2hrs of talking.

Besides I know you'll be smart and collect their email addresses and start building a list to future market advanced products ;) haha.
