    Hello,

Well, to keep it short, NE1UP.com was a project I'm working on for school (learn to code with your own project, and all that), so it's not much more than a landing page and some general 'ne1up' related stuff written on it. Now I just want to monetize the domain somehow.

I do get traffic, I'm even getting sign-ups (made it easy to sign up via Twitter, Facebook, etc), and I NEED money to support my daughter and I.

I'm doing what I can offline to make ends meet, and my online time is extremely limited right now, so I figured at least the one site I have up right now might be able to generate some income with the right script or use.

I'd honestly rather set up a script than be referring people to some affiliate dating network, unless that just makes crazy sense and someone thinks it's a good match for my site and the amount of time I have to spend online, which isn't a ton.

I've been just looking for scripts like daily deal scripts, chat and dating scripts, etc, something that I could take and use and monetize, keep people who sign up with me on my site, rather than sending them elsewhere via affiliate options, which I know nothing about. And in the end, I DO want to develop NE1UP into something unique (also successful?).

Any help, suggestions, or advice would be so appreciated!

Easiest thing I would do is just put in affiliate links to some dating or webcam sites. But your website is designed amazingly, I'm sure you can think of something better.

i would try some CPA offers like freebie/sweeptakes etc.
    This should work quite well.

Wow thank you so much. I've been really solitary in my 'online learning' because family and friends just don't get it or understand. So I never get any real feedback or know if I'm any good or not.

So it's really great to hear positive feedback. I'm extreeeeeeemely critical of my own work and always learning. :)

I've added a super simple donation form before bed lol. I just had to do SOMETHING before I went to sleep.

There's a lot of great script options out there, just at prices of about $150. I can do that in a few months, but not right now. AVchat.net was one option I was looking at, users show up wanting text and video chat, so might try that. Hosting video can be so expensive though. I just don't know.

I knew I was going to get suggestions to go the affiliate route. :) I'll have to read more about those methods tomorrow as it's really something I've no knowledge of. Ditto CPA offers and the like, I don't even know what those are - I like the ideas of freebies and sweepstakes and the like, as I feel like it goes with the NE1UP sort've theme. Group buying, deals, etc. Think either way I'm going to have to have a robust chat system or toolbar or something...

Anyway, before I descend into idea ramblings and brainstorms - THANKS!

I would hitup everythign I can if I was you. The best target would be gamers, since they are up whenever. And since most gamers are single, you can fill your main page(the one after they login with), with some dating affiliate banners. In the begining, don't be so surprise that you don't get 0 hits.

The main thing is to get gamers on the site and then find hot chicks to "causally" stroll in and talk to these dudes. Of course you want alot of dudes, but if its a sausage fest, you will surely lose them fast. Have super hot chicks come in and talk and then find a way to redirect them to the spanky spank spank sites with your affiliate link on them.

Try to go for CPC, since gamers are usually not that incline to pay for sex. Just me throwing the ball around.

I'll definitely go after gamers! Being one myself helps. :)

I'm getting ready to pull the trigger on a couple scripts. I have a few ideas, I'm thinking I'll split test and see what works and what doesn't, with major ideas. Thought about just going 'adult tube' and seeing how that works out, but it's so uninspired... On the other hand, I don't give a f what it is, if it can make me money. :)

I've gone through so many clone scripts, YouTube clones, Pinterest clones, Classifieds and chat/dating scripts... even search engines.

Why, does honesty offend you, or just people with very little pride left asking for help because their situation sucks?

Personally i think this kind of site is gonna rely heavily on social marketing long term i would focus on that.

Monetization wise here are some options i can think of quickly...

    Adsense
    Sell the site on Flippa
Make related CPA landing page and blast to your e-mail list from sign ups
Make some kind of 'Premium' membership option that you can charge for
start a JV, maybe give someone a piece of the action who can monetize for you

Second. Some people are using this to scam members or increase their chance of getting help which is unfair.
You dont need to add that part - community will help you anyways.

Not at all committed to using WordPress, it's just an easy way for me to throw websites up. I'm learning PHP and Java right now, and I've experimented with all sorts of different scripts. If you have a suggestion I'd be thankful and love to hear it.

I hear what you're saying. Especially on here, this type of forum, I think we're all a little more paranoid about scams. Justifiably so.

On the other hand... Well, thanks for your input. :)
