Like most of you, I spend a great deal of my time on this forum reading and reading and reading. However, putting effort into production is very minimal. Always getting distracted and bored with some of these mothods on here and never actually getting any results.

Well I have found something quite interesting that I've been doing lately without realizing...and getting good results.

I've developed a guide for the getting incredible results not only for the lazy but also for those who find free time in between their projects.

    0. Open your favorite music player and let it rip.

    1. Find a couple of methods on BHW that can be applied to your current assignment. For instance, if you are building a simple niche site, search for article spinner and article submitter. Skim the thread and save to your favorites and get back to it later.
    5-10 min

    2. Gather your other resources. Get yourself a domain and setup hosting.
    5-10min

    3. Return to BHW and just browse the front page for a little bit and look at interesting methods to make you more money. You do not necessarily need to implement anything, but it's good knowledge.
    5-20min

    4. Setup your website.
    0-30min

    5. Unpack and install your software from step 1. Mess around with it and test it out.
    2-7min

    6. Repeat step 3

    7. Go to your website and generate content
    0-15min

    8. If you don't already have any auto promotional software, search for it on BHW, otherwise skip this step. Search for things like pr storm and auto article submitter, etc.
    5-10min

    9. Let your auto promotion do it's thing.
10sec(for you to open it up)

Of course I don't expect you to recite this off of the top of your head, but it's just an example of how to go back and forth between assignments while at the same time not wandering off into lala land. Basically, just do what you are already doing, but apply it to BHW and your website...just be ADD about it.

If anyone else has anything to add to this, please feel free.

    Cheers!

Disclaimer: No offense is meant to anyone who actually has ADD

lol. Step #3 should include focusing on those threads that exhort you to stop reading BHW and start implementing methods. :)

Yeah, this is how I do things. It's the ONLY way I can get crap done. It sucks but it works.

i like the guide, however, there shouldn't be so many steps that include checking out BHW again and again lol

You might end up spending more time here than you want again:eek:

Maybe something else that will help you focus more on productive stuff.

A little bit of Meditative/Hypnosis MP3s can help out.... ive got one playing right now :)

Hmm, still working on that method :p
Please share if you have a way :D

Yah...I still need help with that, as do so many others.
But again, this is just to be used as a guideline, rather than step by step instructions.

I find myself coming back here because I get bored with assignments but I still want to be productive somehow. So, this is the best thing that's available at the moment.

As for hypnosis, that stuff kind of freaks me out....

Since I got such a good reaction out of you wonderful black hatters earlier, I thought I'd follow up with a guide for long term goals.

    1. First of all, write down your goals and desires. For instance, "I want to get N backlinks." "I want to make $N.nn." "I want to see video ABC on YouTube." You can include fun stuff in there too. If you do this every morning before you do anything else, I guarantee you that you will be ten times as productive. You can shoot me in the foot if you are not. Send me a PM, I'll give you my email and you can send a gnome through my monitor to B slap me a couple of times.
30sec-1min(5 if you decide to send the gnome :p)
      .
    2. Laziness usually results from unknown obstacles. However, most of the time, we don't realize that the problem at hand is small. To get past this, sit in your chair for 30 seconds and let you mind wander into the factor at hand. Don't actually think, just let ideas fly. You'll be amazed how quickly the solution will slap you in the face.
      30sec-1min
      .
    3. If you have not come up with something in a min, take 5 seconds to think about the problem's importance. Can you move on without it? If so, take a piece of computer paper and write it down with as few words as possible. The solution will come to you.
      5-30sec
      .
    4. If you're truly lazy, and just can't seem to get yourself to do something, then don't! Go do something else that's entertaining. But just before that, take that same piece of paper and write, "I am going to implement factor XYZ" or something simpler such as, "I will do XYZ." Then go do something entertaining.
      10-30sec
      .
    5. Look back at your paper and tell yourself, "I'm going to do XZY."
      1-2sec
      .
    6. Do X, and cross it off your list. Write your goals down if necessary. Feel free to yell at X and say something like "I own you!" or "You just got pwnd!"
      5-30min
      .
    7. Repeat steps 4-6 until XYZ are all crossed off of your list.
      .
    8. Have a nice cup of your favorite drink and give yourself a high five. Give your gnome a high five too.
      1-2min

One thing that I advise you to avoid is the couch. If you have to, move the TV to where you can see it from your computer, but always sit in a chair. Get yourself a comfortable computer chair and enjoy yourself.

Follow these guidelines and I guarantee you that you will be in the majority of rich people on BHW. Again, if you follow these steps, you will succeed.
